  Well, after being 25km from just about any real road in northeast Botswana, against my wife’s advice, I decided to trek over a “dry” lake bed chasing after the first 3 ostriches we saw. (we had a 4x4, what could go wrong?!)  I didn’t know that unlike California, not all “dry” lakes in Africa are really dry.  I made it about .5 miles out into the lake bed before the mud had the best of me… Crap.  - Leica M6 - #36daysofafrica
